Norway inflation stable, but NOK to stay volatile - UBS
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The UBS analyst team remain cautious about NOK, as it remains to be seen whether Norway’s economy will be affected by the oil price drop.
Key Quotes
“In October, inflation in Norway remained pretty stable, with core inflation going up from 2.4% to 2.5%. As such, the main worry for NOK investors should come from growth”.
“It remains to be seen how Norway's Mainland economy will be affected by the oil price drop. In the meantime, the NOK will likely continue to react nervously to oil price movements”.
“We thus remain cautious in the coming weeks, and see EUR/NOK falling only slightly over three months”.
