GBP weakness positive for inflation – BoE’s Weale

At his testimony before the Treasury Committee, BoE’s MPC member Martin Weale has argued that the recent (and sharp) drop in the sterling could have positive effects on inflation.

GBP/USD is trading on a negative note today, breaking below the 1.4100 support at the time of writing.
