GBP/USD struggles to hold above 1.3300
GBP/USD is struggling to hold above the 1.33 mark on Monday, after the pair was rejected from post-UK data high of 1.3374.
GBP/USD slid briefly below 1.3300 and scored a low of 1.3287 before finding support and climbing back into the green. At time of writing, the pair was trading at 1.3311, up 0.14% on the day.
The pound strengthened during the European session after data showed UK services sector expanded more than expected in August. However, Cable pulled back from highs as momentum faltered over the last hours, with US markets closed due to the Labor Day.
GBP/USD levels to consider
As for technical levels, immediate resistances could be found at 1.3374 (Sep 5 high), 1.3400 (psychological level) and 1.3480 (Jul 15 high). On the other hand, supports are seen at 1.3251 (Sep2 low), 1.3194 (10-day SMA), 1.3127 (Sep 1 low).
