Germany: ZEW Survey – Economic Sentiment up to 62 in December

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The German ZEW Survey – Economic Sentiment improved to 62 points in December, from 54.6 points in November, the Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung reported today. Market consensus pointed to much less increase to 55 points.

The German ZEW Survey – Current Situation grew to 32.4 points from 28.7 points, above forecasts of a rise to 30 points.

The Eurozone ZEW Survey – Economic Sentiment jumped to 68.3 points in December, from 60.2 points in November.

EMU: Annual CPI at 0.9% in November

Eurozone annual inflation rose 0.9% in November, following 0.7% growth registered the previous month, according to data released today by Eurostat. This result is in line with analysts' forecasts. On a monthly basis Eurozone CPI fell 0.1% in November, after sliding 0.1% in October, as expected.
