NZD/USD jumps and approaches 0.8500
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The NZD/USD extended gains and printed a fresh high at 0.8491, the strongest level since the beginning of the week. Currently the pair trades at 0.8489, up 0.83% for the day. In a few hours it was able to erased weekly losses and rebounded toward the price it had at the beginning of the week.
On Wednesday the NZD/USD bottomed at 0.8401 and during the recent Asian session gained some momentum,. On European hours moved further to the upside and after Wall Street opening accelerated toward the upside. In the last two hours it has risen more than 30 pips.
NZD/USD technical levels
To the upside, the immediate resistance levels could be located at 0.8500 and above here at 0.8515 (May 30 high) and 0.8530. To the downside support now might lie at 0.8475, 0.8440 and 0.8420.
